Spinnova makes Fast Company’s Brands That Matter list 2022

Fast Company’s Brands That Matter honors brands that demonstrate brand purpose, creating exceptional customer loyalty. Spinnova is one of the few textile innovations to make the 2022 list.

Spinnova is named on the list of 144 meaningful brands worldwide by Fast Company, a reputable business magazine focused on the intersection of technology, business, and design. Brands That Matter recognizes brands that give people compelling reasons to care about them. The list includes large multinational conglomerates, small-but-mighty companies, and nonprofits.

Spinnova is one of the few textile innovations on the list, joined by brands such as circular fashion company For Days and performance apparel companies The North Face and Icebreaker. Other brands on the list include plant-based food technology company Impossible Foods, electric car manufacturer Polestar aiming for a net-zero car by 2030, and language-learning app Duolingo.

“Being selected for the list showcases that we have succeeded in communicating Spinnova’s mission in a relatable way – that Spinnova’s technology and products spark interest and feel relevant in this time”, comments Spinnova’s CEO Kim Poulsen.

Fast Company editors judged each brand on relevancy, cultural impact, ingenuity, and business impact to compile the list. This is the second time that the Brands That Matter list has been curated. Previous winners include Patagonia Provisions, Allbirds and Beyond Meat.
