Spinnova has been awarded the Impact Award on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 listing
Spinnova has made Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list and received the Impact Award for its investments in a more sustainable tomorrow. Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program lists the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Finland.
Spinnova is named on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list. The list includes fast-growing technology companies that are united above all by sustainability. This year, for the first time, Deloitte awarded a technology company that promotes sustainable business with the Impact Award from the companies that reached the Fast 50 list. The award was won by Spinnova, ranked 9th in the list, which has developed a new type of technology to produce textile fiber.
"Spinnova receiving the @Deloitte Impact Award, and being the first company to do so, means a great deal to us. Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program lists the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Finland. The winners are based on four-year average percentage growth for each technology company.
"Sustainabilty is an important part of Deloitte's values. Also, more and more growth companies specifically want to generate value for the company and society as a whole in a sustainable way. Investors are demanding more and more responsibility. This can already be seen in the types of business ideas that receive funding. This year, in addition to those listed on the basis of financial statement information, we wanted to reward a company from the list that does goal-oriented and innovative work to promote sustainable business. The criteria for the award were the company's investment in a more sustainable tomorrow. In the selection, emphasis was also placed on the company's vision, innovativeness and international growth from the perspective of sustainability", explains Deloitte’s Partner, Climate & Sustainability Anna-Maria Flanagan.
Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program is implemented based on the official financial statements of the companies. It is the 17th time when Deloitte runs the Fast 50 competition in Finland.
